Dr. Brandon is excited to welcome Dr. Matt Lucero to the Treetop team in 2018! Dr. Matt joins the team with 4 years of experience in private practice and has completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry. Help us make him feel at home and say hello the next time you are in the office.
Matt Lucero, DMD
While not a native Texan, Dr. Matt got here as soon as he could! Growing up in Sparks, Nevada, Dr. Matt attended college at the University of Nevada. He attended dental school in Florida at Nova Southeastern University where he met his wife Sarah. Together, Dr. Matt and Sarah moved to Texas in 2010 to allow Dr. Matt to complete an Advanced Dental Residency at the VA Medical Center in San Antonio. While living in the San Antonio area, Dr. Matt and his wife fell in love with Central Texas and made the decision to make it their home.
Upon completing dental school, Dr. Matt worked as a General Dentist for 4 years in Round Rock and Georgetown. During this time, Dr. Matt had the opportunity to treat under-served children in a public health clinic setting, and discovered a passion for Pediatric Dentistry. He then pursued his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Oregon Health & Science University, finishing his training in 2017. Dr. Matt believes that taking care of kids is fun, and it should be. No other job in the world allows you to talk about cartoons and superheros, while helping kids stay healthy. He is excited to join the Treetop Team in 2018!
